Old times, old videos....

Dear Students,
Before the DVD era, we had VIDEO CASSETTE PLAYERS.... and one of my favourite videos was this one of Sarah Brightman singing the love theme of the Phantom of the Opera - All I Ask of You! I remember I was a teenager and I would see the same video over and over again, especially the part where they kiss and hug. It was so romantic... and the special effects were so modern for that time! I'm now almost 40, but can you believe I still feel "romantic" when I watch this video? Thanks to YOUTUBE I can watch it once in a while. Hope you enjoy it... And hope you feel romantic, too.
"Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Say a word and I will follow you! Love me, that's all I ask of you!" (Lloyd Webber)
Cheers!

The Phantom of the Opera in Portuguese

Dear CCB Students, It's been over two years since I haven't updated this blog... That' because it's over two years since CCB hasn't given me S3 to teach. I love S3 because we study THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! I've just discovered a cartoon of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IN PORTUGUESE. The singers are not the best in the world, but it's interesting to see. I couldn't manage to find part 1 of the cartoon, just from part 2 on. You can watch all the story, which is very similar to the reader we use at CCB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKnlKHHbNWs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL Cheers! Jocely.
